Built in 1870, formerly known as the Burma Pool is the first swimming pool in Malaysia. A unique aspect of this pool isthat its water comes straight from the streams of Maxwell Hill (Bukit Larut). Hence, many come hereto enjoy its refreshing cool waters which is also free from chlorine.

Thanks for the remembering of Taiping oldies.
However, I've found that all pictures of the swimming pools before renovated is similar that i've shot back on Feb 2008 ago.
